Utah vaiscite is amongst one of the few valuable gemstones to come from United States. It is adored for soft, green color that, at times, is also confused for green turquoise.
The gem was discovered in 1837 and ever since, it has gained substantial fan following. In ancient times it was believed that the gem relieves stress and helps in reviving mental alertness and self- recognition.
The gem is a natural stone and requires no treatment. It is ranked 4 to 5 on the Mohs scale of hardness.
